Dreams

I was rumaging through a folder looking for a guitar writing book that I knew I had and found a bunch of written songs I had forgotten about... Here is one I wrote in 1993... Enjoy:)

I dont like the dark
Cause you cant see what s ahead
Visions of love and pain
Are just thoughts that are unsaid
Shadows of things you see
Arent what they appear
When you think youve figured it out
Then it all seems so unclear (Chorus)

When you feel alone
And everything around you
Seems to be so real
Close your eyes and start to feel
Whats real in your heart
Is whats so important
Then whats in the dark
Wont matter anymore (Chorus)

Chorus:
Ive got dreams, Ive got worries
These things are so real to me
Ive got hopes of a future
But in the dark its so hard to see
